Wendy Mittemeijer is a PhD medical expert and author in the field of health, science and philosophy. After working in the academy for 10 years, she switched to the pharmaceutical healthcare sector. In 2020, she became well known for her ethical reflection on health, healthcare and health policies. Her passion is to put scientific and ethical principles on the table, to inform people honestly, and to build bridges between industry, academia, healthcare and society. Her core values: integrity and self-determination.
Wendy has 15 years of experience as a Senior Medical Advisor in pharmaceutical industry. She was resposible for Rx medication, OTC products, supplements & devices in many disease areas. Wendy has a PhD in pharmacogenetics, and worked 10 years in academia, in The Netherlands and the US. Over the years she followed training in leadership, coaching, and impactful writing and presenting.
Wendy stands for authenticity, agility and quality. Improving the lives of people drives her. She authored many articles, blogs and book chapters, and is known for her inspiring and honest words.
